The large holiday home is located in the centre of the beautiful small town and the holiday resort of Daun, in the immediate vicinity of many sights and excursion destinations.
The City Holiday Home Vulkaneifel is a combination of the two holiday apartments "Daun" and "Vulkaneifel".
It can therefore be booked as a complete house with 185 sqm of living space, outside terrace and garden (behind the house).
The house has a approx. 45 square meter terrace with garden furniture. To the front the terrace adjoins the busy street and the pavement and on one side there is a small municipal park. Due to the central location of the house, the terrace was surrounded by a fence and hedges. The separate entrance of the house leads from the street over the terrace into the house.
A quiet garden with lawn, sitting area, 2nd barbecue, fountain and a children's play tower (2 swings, slide, sandbox) is also available behind the house and can be used whenever you need some rest and recuperation.
Internet / WLAN / WIFI is available for free in all rooms. You will receive a corresponding password for the WLAN (WIFI).
An ornamental gravel area has been lovingly and elaborately laid out on the outside of the house. With a fountain and a small waterfall.
The LED illumination of the house and grounds with its play of colours creates a special atmosphere in the evening and at night.
The holiday home spreads over 4 floors and can accommodate up to 14 people. It has 5 separate double bedrooms, of which one small additional apartment can be reached via a spiral staircase to the upper floor, 3 living/bedrooms with 3 double sofa beds. Dining area on the ground floor with extendable dining table for all persons, 2nd dining area additionally on the upper floor, 4 x HD TV in each living room and in the upper bathroom, 4 x DVD player, CD player, radio and USB connection in 3 living rooms and in the 3 bathrooms, ceiling fan, games etc. 2 kitchens, one of them with dishwasher, 2 x bathtub and shower, 2 x WC (1 x in the upper floor and 1 x in the basement) and an additional shower with washing facility (in the basement).
A storage room and an additional room with washing machine and dryer are provided in the basement of the house. For a small fee (4.50 € the washing machine and the dryer incl. washing powder) can be used.
Many sights and leisure facilities are only a few minutes' walk away. Grocery shopping, shopping, restaurants, cafes, cinema, wellness or indoor hot water pool etc. are just around the corner.
A supermarket and 2 large bakeries are about 50 to 150 m away (bakeries and cafes are open on Sundays).
The 3 lakes are only 2 to 3 km away. Visit the beautiful spa gardens in Daun.
The hiking area Wehrbüsch with connection to the maar lakes is only 600 to 700 m away.
A large children's playground is only 100 m away.

Daun: The small, friendly district town of Daun (approx. 7,500 inhabitants) lie approx. 400 to 500 metres above sea level. Daun is the centre of the Volcanic Eifel. Idyllically situated, the holiday resort of Daun is an excellent starting place for a whole number of excursion destinations.
You will find many leisure facilities and sights in Daun and its surroundings. The 3 Daun lakes (maars) are only 2 to 4 kilometres away. Swimming, boating, fishing and many other water sports can be practised here. The Wild- und Erlebnis park Daun (wildlife and adventure park) and its summer toboggan run are only about 2 km away. The world-famous "Nürburgring" race track is only approx. 18 km away.
One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Moselle) starts and ends in Daun. Bicycles can be rented at little cost in Daun. In the well-known tourist resort Daun the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool, a variety of small shops and good restaurants are worth a visit.
