The holiday apartment Daun is located in the centre of the small town and holiday resort Daun, in the immediate vicinity of the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool and many other leisure facilities and excursion destinations.
The lovely small town of Daun offers a good range of small shops, restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home. The "Wehrbüsch" hiking area is only a few minutes' walk away. The lakes and maars are only about 2 km away.
Holiday apartment Daun: The beautifully furnished holiday apartment is newly refurbished and suitable for 8 persons, size spread over two floors: 95 sqm. It is situated on the first and second floor of the city holiday home Vulkaneifel (separate entrance). It has a living/bedroom with double sofa bed, corner sofa and dining area, large HD TV with a variety of German and international stations (2 satellites: Astra and Hotbird) with DVD and A stereo with Radio; CD and USB, 3 separate bedrooms with large double beds, one bedroom is in an apartment-like room on the upper floor (accessible via spiral staircase). This room also has a complete sofa set; 2 HD TVs with DVD and stereo with radio, CD and USB. The apartment also has a separate kitchen with a 4 plate ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment and an additional dining area in the kitchen, bathroom/ shower/ WC with bathtub and shower device, modern counter top washbasin, beautiful LED mirror with clock, hotel hairdryer, HD TV and DVD and stereo with radio, CD and USB in the bathroom, beautiful timber floor board, wardrobe, central heating, games. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the basement area of the house. These can be used for a small fee ‚(4,59 € laundry and drying incl. washing powder).
Internet / WLAN / WIFI is available for free in all rooms. You will receive a corresponding password for the WLAN (WIFI).
An ornamental gravel area has been lovingly and elaborately laid out on the on the outside of the house. With a fountain and a small waterfall. The house and the outdoor facilities are beautifully illuminated in the evening and at night by a play of colours using LED spotlights.
On one side the City Holiday Home Vulkaneifel adjoins the road and on the other a small urban park.
Behind the house there is a quiet garden with meadow, outdoor seating, fountain, barbecue and children's play tower with slide, sandbox and 2 swings.
This well-kept outdoor area can be used by you whenever you are looking for peace and recuperation.
The equipment of the apartment includes: Microwave, 2 coffee machines (pad machine Bosch Tassimo), toaster and electric kettle. Pots and pans as well as cutlery and crockery for the highest possible number of persons are of course available. Cot and high chair can be provided free of charge.
The parking spaces are directly behind the house, in the courtyard.
Many sights and leisure facilities are only a few minutes' walk away. Grocery shopping, shopping, restaurants, cafes, cinema, wellness or indoor hot water pool etc. are just around the corner.
A supermarket and 2 large bakeries are about 50 to 150 m away (bakeries and cafes are open on Sundays).
The 3 lakes are only 2 to 3 km away. Visit the beautiful spa gardens in Daun.
The hiking area Wehrbüsch with connection to the maar lakes is only 600 to 700 m away.
A large children's playground is only 100 m away.

Daun: The small, friendly district town of Daun (approx. 7,500 inhabitants) lie approx. 400 to 500 metres above sea level. Daun is the centre of the Volcanic Eifel. Idyllically situated, the holiday resort of Daun is an excellent starting place for a whole number of excursion destinations.
You will find many leisure facilities and sights in Daun and its surroundings. The 3 Daun lakes (maars) are only 2 to 4 kilometres away. Swimming, boating, fishing and many other water sports can be practised here. The Wild- und Erlebnis park Daun (wildlife and adventure park) and its summer toboggan run are only about 2 km away. The world-famous "Nürburgring" race track is only approx. 18 km away.
One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Moselle) starts and ends in Daun. Bicycles can be rented at little cost in Daun. In the well-known tourist resort Daun the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool, a variety of small shops and good restaurants are worth a visit.
