Holiday Apartment Vulkaneifel
The holiday apartment Vulkaneifel is bright and furnished in a modern style. It is located in the centre of the beautiful holiday resort, the small town of Daun.
The outdoor facilities of the house include an approx. 45 square meter terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. To the front side the terrace adjoins the busy street and to the side a small park. Due to the central location of the house (traffic), the terrace was surrounded by a fence and hedges. The separate entrance of the house leads from the street over the terrace into the house.
Behind the house there is in addition a well-kept and quiet garden with meadow, additional seating area, a second barbecue, fountain and a children's play tower with 2 swings, sandbox and slide. This well-kept outdoor area can be used by you whenever you are looking for peace and recuperation.
The outside area has been lovingly and elaborately laid out an ornamental gravel area and a small waterfall with fountain.
At night there is a special atmosphere due to the colour-coordinated LED illumination of the house and the outdoor facilities.
The holiday apartment Vulkaneifel is approx. 90 sqm large and is spread out over 2 floors of the City Holiday Home Vulkaneifel.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen living and 2 separate bedrooms. In the basement 2 bathrooms and a WC.
The apartment is suitable for 2 to 6 persons. In the living room there is also a double sofa bed with 2 further sleeping places. The holiday apartment has an eat-in-kitchen, dishwasher, electric cooker with 4-plate ceramic hob and oven, large fridge with fridge-freezer. 2 coffee machines (1 x pad, Bosch Tassimo and 1 x filter machine). The dining area is part of the living area.
Internet / WLAN / WIFI is available for free in all rooms. You will receive a corresponding password for the WLAN (WIFI).
In the living room: HD TV (107 cm), digital TV with a great number of German and international stations (2 satellites: Astra and Hotbird), digital radio, DVD player, radio, CD player (can also be used with USB stick), ceiling fan, games, etc. wardrobe..
In the basement there are 2 bathrooms, 1 x bathtub and separate shower, washing facilities, WC and 1 x shower, washing facilities. Both bathrooms have a large illuminated LED mirror with time and date display and a large full-length mirror and a hotel hairdryer, 2 modern washbasins with LED illuminated fittings. In addition, a stereo with CD/radio and USB port is installed in each bathroom.
The equipment of the holiday apartment includes: Microwave, coffee machine, toaster and electric kettle. Pots and pans as well as cutlery and crockery for the highest possible number of persons are of course available. Cot and high chair can be provided free of charge.
A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the basement area of the house. These can be used for a small fee ‚(4,59 € incl. washing powder).
The holiday apartment has parking spaces at the back of the house.
Many sights and leisure facilities are only a few minutes' walk away. Grocery shopping, shopping, restaurants, cafes, cinema, wellness or indoor hot water pool etc. are just around the corner.
A supermarket and 2 large bakeries are about 50 to 150 m away (bakeries and cafes are open on Sundays).
The 3 lakes are only 2 to 3 km away. Visit the beautiful spa gardens in Daun.
The hiking area Wehrbüsch with connection to the maar lakes is only 600 to 700 m away.
A large children's playground is only 100 m away.

Daun: The small, friendly district town of Daun (approx. 7,500 inhabitants) lie approx. 400 to 500 metres above sea level. Daun is the centre of the Volcanic Eifel. Idyllically situated, the holiday resort of Daun is an excellent starting place for a whole number of excursion destinations.
You will find many leisure facilities and sights in Daun and its surroundings. The 3 Daun lakes (maars) are only 2 to 4 kilometres away. Swimming, boating, fishing and many other water sports can be practised here. The Wild- und Erlebnis park Daun (wildlife and adventure park) and its summer toboggan run are only about 2 km away. The world-famous "Nürburgring" race track is only approx. 18 km away.
One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Moselle) starts and ends in Daun. Bicycles can be rented at little cost in Daun. In the well-known tourist resort Daun the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool, a variety of small shops and good restaurants are worth a visit.
