The large panoramic balcony with 3 exits (from the living room, the dining area and from a bedroom) runs completely around the apartment in 2 directions. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the panoramic view. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the lake and the village centre.
The apartment is located in a beautiful residential area.
It is a smoke-free apartment (smokers please move to the roofed balcony).
The elegant holiday apartment has WLan / Internet access. Sauna, solarium and washing machine can be used in the nearby Maarberg Resort.

The apartment has approx.76 sqm and is suitable for 2 to 6 persons.
Large living/bedroom with double sofa bed, magnificent view over the lake, dining area with lake and panoramic view, 2 separate bedrooms, one bedroom with a large double bed and one bedroom with a French bed (1.40 m wide), kitchen with dishwasher, 4 plate ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, 2 coffee machines: 1 x coffee machine for pads and 1 x filter machine, storage room.
Bathtub with shower and WC, washbasin, additional guest bathroom with washbasin, hall, wardrobe, central heating. In the living room: digital TV with flat screen (107 cm, HD TV, 2 satellites: Astra and Hotbird with a great number of German and international stations), digital radio with many German and international stations, Internet access with Wlan/DSL for your own laptop. Outdoor area: Large roofed all-around balcony with beautiful view over the lake and the village, garden furniture, access to the balcony from the living room, from the dining area and from the smaller of the two bedrooms, parking space directly in front of the house entrance and a garage that can be used for bicycles or motorcycles.
The equipment of the apartment includes: Microwave, 2 coffee machines, toaster and electric kettle. Pots and pans as well as cutlery and crockery for the highest possible number of persons are of course available. Cot and high chair can be provided free of charge.

Village and holiday region
Schalkenmehren is a very beautiful and well-known tourist resort with approx. 600 inhabitants at an altitude of approx. 450 metres, located directly on the Maar (crater lake) of Schalkenmehren.
In addition to the many water sports offers, swimming, fishing, boating etc., a variety of beautiful hiking trails is waiting for you around the lakes and in the region. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Moselle), goes directly past Schalkenmehren. Bicycles can be hired at a low price in the village.
Furthermore there are a large number of good restaurants and pubs of various categories.
Both Schalkenmehren and Daun offer good shopping facilities. The district town of Daun is 3 miles away.
